Constitution Avenue (Islamabad)

Constitution Avenue () is a major road that runs through Islamabad, Pakistan. It is considered one of the most important zones in the city as a number of landmark and government buildings exist along the road, such as the Aiwan-e-Sadr, the Prime Minister's Secretariat, the Grand Hyatt Islamabad, the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Library of Pakistan, the Supreme Court of Pakistan, as well as the office of the Auditor General of Pakistan.〔(Constitution Avenue )〕 The Diplomatic Enclave hosting foreign embassies also lies close to the area.
==Inauguration==
Constitution Avenue was inaugurated by First ever Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Khan Habibullah Khan Marwat (that time acting President of Pakistan) on 23 April 1974.
